Saturday Rehearsal and notices

Our first Saturday Rehearsal is this week – Saturday 12th October, 10am – 1pm at St Mary’s Church, Balham High Road SW12.
Though there are no parking facilities, the church is a two minute walk from Balham Underground and Overground. The bus stop from Tooting is almost immediately outside, while the buses from Clapham Common stop just across the road. If you come by bicycle they can be locked up outside – please, do not bring cycles into the church.
We do look forward to seeing as many as possible – these rehearsals are a great opportunity to go over the music we have covered so far.
October Saturday 19th – Last Call for Les Miserables  Singing and Social Evening
This is the last call for a few remaining spaces for the Festival Chorus Singalong of Les Miserables on 19 October at 38, Endlesham Road, Balham SW12 8JL.
Arrive at 6.30 for drinks and nibbles, then rehearsal of songs from Les Mis, supper, full sing through of the songs, and more socialising.
You bring £10 minimum donation for choir funds plus some food (guidance will be given as to what). Everything else is provided.
Email Ferelith: first come, first served.”
Party……An important feature of all our concerts is the post-concert party. This is a brilliant opportunity to end a lovely evening, to relax and socialise. Nor is it only for Choir Members – you can bring friends and family. However, we need a venue. The only criterion, that it is within easy walking distance of the church. If you would like to “host” this event, please contact me. All you need to do is provide the place – Mary Ellis, our catering guru and the Committee will do the rest.
