Summer 2014 – Concert Dress etc

For our concert performance of Pirates of Penzance on Saturday 5th July, the dress will be as follows:

Men – all black, casual. [Libby has 20 or so black t-shirts which are available to borrow if needed. Do contact her if you need one].
Girls – black bottoms, long skirts or trousers. Tops – t-shirts or shirts – plain, bright colours, no patterns or logos, no glitter, no scarves! Suggest red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, turquoise, pink, etc. no white, black, beige or brown!! Primark always has cheap t-shirts in good colours at about £3.

Please remember there is no rehearsal on Monday 26th May. Our next rehearsal will be Monday 2nd June at Broomwood Hall.

Concert – Saturday 5th July, 7.30pm. Remember the pre-concert rehearsal (obligatory attendance if singing) will be 10.00am – 1.00pm

Not one to fall out of touch, Telemann kept up with his old school chum Fasch, his godson C.P.E Bach, and traded letters and even gifts with Handel in faraway London. Settle in over a glass of wine and listen in as all four correspondents finally meet in a concert of rarely-performed music for winds to warm the heart of any homesick German.
