Pre concert rehearsal details etc

Our next two Monday rehearsals (23rd and 30th June) will be at St Luke’s Church, Ramsden Road (the entrance is on Thurleigh Road), at 8pm. I hope this notice will reach all choir members – please do remind friends as well. We will be given “performance” instructions at these rehearsals (i.e stands/sits, what soloists will be doing etc).

Tickets will be available to collect – extras to buy. The BBQ tickets will also be on hand – £6 for a glass of wine + burger/Hot Dog. The ticket can be split into 2 – you hand one in at the bar for the wine; the other goes to the BBQ stand. Subsequent glasses/burgers are then paid for. Please do join us AND bring friends and relations. It is a great opportunity to relax and celebrate both a fun evening and our successful season

As always we will be circulating the volunteer sign-up sheets. PLEASE do volunteer to help set up staging on Friday evening – speak to Tim Sanders-Hewitt; the bar. And then bar and BBQ helpers for the night. The latter particularly important since our usual “manager” will be unable to take on this role due to unforeseen circumstances. Many hands really do make light work!

NB Remember our final Rehearsal (obligatory) (pre-concert) on Saturday 5th July is 10.00am – 1.00pm. It will be at St Luke’s.

Concert Dress
Men – all black, casual. [Libby has 20 or so black t-shirts which are available to borrow if needed. Do contact her if you need one].
Girls – black bottoms, long skirts or trousers. Tops – t-shirts or shirts – plain, bright colours, no patterns or logos, no glitter, no scarves! Suggest red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, turquoise, pink, etc. no white, black, beige or brown!! Primark always has cheap t-shirts in good colours at about £3.

A.G.M. – The AGM will be on Monday 7th July, 8pm at 12 Earlsfield Road, SW18, our hostess, Jan Passey. We look forward to welcoming you. As well as the business, this is always a very social occasion.
