MONTEVERDI EVENING

Andrea and the committee warmly invite you to an evening in St Luke’s Church on Friday 11th September 2015 at 7.30pm, to watch a DVD of the Monteverdi Vespers, conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner in St Mark’s Venice. This is a chance to see a fantastic performance of the piece in its entirety, giving us something to aim for while enjoying a sociable evening too.

There will be a bar and a simple supper, cost £6 for a glass of wine and food, £2 for each glass of wine after that. We will collect money on the door but you will be able to buy tickets at our first rehearsal as well.

We recommend you bring cushions for your comfort – please no chairs, in case they block the view for other people.

We need to have a rough idea of numbers for catering and because we have to cover the cost of the church, so it would be good if you could RSVP as soon as possible.

You are welcome to bring a partner/friend – but, again, please let us know in good time.
