Our new session has launched and it was great to welcome regular members as well as new faces at our first rehearsal of The Vespers by Monteverdi.
Rehearsals as advertised, will start at at 7.45pm and last for 2 hours, at Broomwood Church Hall, Kyrle Road.

Monteverdi evening – Friday 11th September, 7.30pm St Luke’s Church, Thurleigh Road SW12. Tickets £6. Please come and join us.

Saturday Rehearsals will take place 10th October and 31st October 10.00am – 1.00pm at St Mary’s Balham; 14th November at St Luke’s Church

Altos – Tuesday 22nd September – 15 Old Devonshire Road SW12 9RD

Sopranos – Wednesday 30th September – 27 Morella Road SW12

Tenors – Wednesday 7th October – 15 Old Devonshire Road, SW12 9RD

Basses – Wednesday 14th October – 56 Roseneath Road SW11 6AQ

All will start at 8pm. Please do come along. Andrea and Elspeth will be supporting all of these and they will provide a great opportunity to look closely at one part and boost confidence.

A Vision for the Choir: At the AGM Andrea presented her vision for the Festival Chorus inviting feedback and comment. Thank you to those who have responded. We are extending the deadline for comments to the end of September. Please do respond if you have ideas and views – you can do this via the website or
The Committee will be organising a special Committee meeting to discuss this and would welcome such feedback
