Rehearsal schedule etc.

Our term has opened with a flourish as we starting rehearsing for our Summer Concert with Carmina Burana (Orff) and The passing of the year (Dove) – a sequence of poems reflecting the seasons. There is still time to sign up.
Concert : Saturday 2nd July, 7.30pm St Luke’s Church, Ramsden Road, SW12
Saturday Rehearsals – 7th May and 11th June, 10.00am – 1.00pm St Mary’s Church, Balham High Road, SW12
We will rehearse on Monday 2nd May, but will break for Monday 30th May, the Bank Holiday.

The Rehearsal Schedule is attached – if there are changes we will hope to let you know.

On Monday 18th April we will have a split rehearsal to allow the sections (Sops +Altos; Tenors + Basses) to work together.
A small choir (piccolo coro) is required for Carmina Burana and we would like people to sign up. There will be sheets available at the Monday rehearsal. Lease note there will be two rehearsals – Tuesday 17th May, 7.30pm – 9.30pm and Saturday 11th June 1.30pm – 3.30pm (though this latter may change)

Vocal Health/Technique sessions – these are designed to be small group singing lessons – a really exciting opportunity for us all which will also allow Andrea to get to know singers. You will be invited ( by e mail) to attend these in small groups of your own voice. They will mainly take place ahead of a Monday rehearsal from 6.30 to 7.30. Other times will also be made available to people who find those times difficult.

A.G.M: Monday 4th July 8.00pm Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Road SW17

About time this section is either brought up to date, or deleted if nobody is able to keep it current.
